Absolute Resolve, Absolute Chaos: The Crumbling of the Venezuela Oil Strategy

Trump Takes Over Venezuela, Oil Move Backfires. Donald Trump invaded Venezuela, captured Maduro, captured his wife, and in the middle of all this, he sent diplomatic staff there, he sent diplomatic staff there, because there are so many oil reserves, energy reserves, we have to do this. On the other hand, Donald Trump says that no,

A group has emerged that is resisting. What are the Collectivos? The Collectivos are a group that used to call themselves revolutionaries. These are pro-government paramilitary groups. They are working in different places. This was their job at one time, but it’s no longer the case. At one time, their job was to gather intelligence, to eliminate anyone who spoke against the government, right? And in such areas, they had taken control, and the police wouldn’t dare enter out of fear. This was the terror of the Collectivos. Today, those same Collectives are carrying weapons and checking people’s identification at different checkpoints. Wherever they find out that someone might be an American, then you can understand what they are doing. So, out of fear, Trump has now said, “Get out, all Americans, get out.” On one hand, diplomats are going in, and on the other hand, the common Americans who were there are being told, “Boss, get out immediately, there is a serious threat to your life.” Okay, so that’s what happened. Then Trump called 20-plus companies, the world’s top oil companies and their top executives, and said, “Come to the White House, let’s discuss this whole Venezuela matter, like before.” Now, the world’s top energy companies came to the White House, and their executives sat in front of Donald Trump, and the spoils are being divided. The goat was already slaughtered on January 3rd. Now the spoils are being divided, and Trump is asking everyone, “You have to do this, this, this, this,” but nobody… Nobody is willing to say anything about this. Well, it’s Trump’s habit that he doesn’t care whether you say something or not; if he wants to speak, he will say whatever he wants. So Trump said that

I have completed this entire deal. 50 million barrels of oil will keep coming to us, and it will keep coming regularly.

That’s the first thing. The second thing is, look, we are now controlling all of Venezuela’s oil. Do you know the value of the oil in Venezuela? It’s 17.3 trillion US dollars 17.3 trillion US dollars. That’s roughly the size of the entire Chinese economy. Give or take a trillion or two, this is very, very close to what the Chinese GDP looks like. Can you imagine? Very, very close to what the Chinese GDP looks like. Can you imagine? So much oil, so much gas, so much of everything in Venezuela. Trump is now saying that all of this is under my control. I will decide who buys this oil and at what price, and I will keep controlling it forever, in perpetuity. And these oil executives, from the world’s richest oil companies, who control the oil trade, are sitting there, and they don’t say a word. Donald Trump is saying that you will have to invest a hundred billion dollars, because before you can extract it, you have to put something in, right? Now, look, you’ll have to drill, you’ll have to explore what’s there, then you’ll extract it, a whole ecosystem will be created, a whole oil and gas ecosystem will be created, and here are the world’s largest proven oil reserves, as I mentioned, 17.3 trillion. Now, Donald Trump says, “You guys do one thing, you invest 100 billion dollars. When you invest this money, then the oil will come out.” The goat has been slaughtered, and now I have called you to the White House to distribute it. Here, people’s hands went cold. The issue is not about a hundred billion dollars; it’s not about a hundred billion dollars at all. There are two or three issues here, then I will tell you who said what, but it’s very interesting.

Look, everyone, this is not simply a relationship between the United States of America and Venezuela, where you kidnapped the president, along with his wife, and now whatever you say will go. This is not that chapter, friends. This matter involves the entire world’s global energy supply chain. First of all, people believe that we have invested here in Venezuela once or twice before, and our billions of dollars got stuck, and we don’t even know if that money will come back or not, and Trump is not talking about that.

Trump is saying, “What’s done is done, let bygones be bygones, look to the future.” He’s saying, “Sir, this is a company, this is a company, not an NGO, so don’t tell me to look to the future. First, tell me about the money we invested there in Venezuela. At one point, this happened twice; people invested billions of dollars there. At one point, they nationalized everything; they nationalized the whole thing, saying that all private assets belong to the state. He said, ‘This is very strange. We spent billions of dollars, we set up the infrastructure, and today you’re saying that they belong to the state,’ meaning they belong to the Venezuelan government.”  Big companies like that, their biggest energy company in the world, their oil company in the world, these companies suffered huge losses. So they’re saying… well, there’s another thing. Keep in mind that this oil, which Trump has seized, is a good short-term step for the United States of America. In the short term, the dollar is under pressure, right? There was a time when America was printing money; they were acting like bullies in the world, saying that all trade would be in dollars. First thing, who’s printing the dollar? Who’s printing the dollar? A $100 bill, what’s its intrinsic value? America keeps printing and printing and printing. Print as much as you want; the world is trading in it. Now the issue is that the world is starting to look at de-dollarization. What India and Russia are doing has nothing to do with the dollar. Now there are many countries in Africa that are trading with China, and there’s no dollar involved. Now, when there’s no connection to the dollar, the value of the dollar will decrease, right? You and I need to trade. You’re from a different country, I’m from India. We need to trade, and we say, “Forget the dollar.” We say, “I accept your currency,” and you say, “I accept the rupee.” End of story. Okay, this is a very dangerous thing for the dollar, a very dangerous thing for America, and here China has already paid in advance. Venezuela needed oil, but it stopped the oil supply to China. Now understand this: “We’ve already given billions of dollars, what about us?” So, is China at a disadvantage in the short term? Absolutely. In the long term, selling this oil will become a bit difficult. And I’ll tell you one more thing, what Donald Trump said, “I’ll do this in eighteen months, I’ll do this in twelve months,” nothing is going to happen. It will take many years, even if these oil companies invest money. I’m talking about that scenario, and there are some such oil companies.

There’s no doubt that some oil companies will invest in this because Trump will then pressure them, saying, “Invest the money, otherwise I’ll harm you.” Trump is acting like a bully; he will harm them, and those companies will be forced to invest money in Venezuela. Once again, they will extract the oil, then they will sell the oil, and in this entire system, in this whole system, it’s going to take time. This won’t happen tomorrow, as Donald Trump is saying. It won’t happen tomorrow. There are many experts who are saying that it will take more than a decade, more than ten years. Why are the executives, the owners of these big oil companies, their CEOs, so afraid? Look here, ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods’ response; he’s also sitting in the White House, next to Trump. And ExxonMobil is a giant, a giant company. What is he saying?

He’s saying, “If you look at the legal and commercial constructs and framework in place today in Venezuela, it’s uninvestable.” He’s saying, “What about the old twelve dollars, the twelve dollars that were stuck there? What will happen to that?”

That’s just on the books, standing there as a loss. What will you do about that? So, as of today, this entire matter is uninvestable. And this isn’t just Donald Trump; this is a worldview, a way of looking at the world, that says, “Okay, this is oil. We’ll seize it, and once we’ve seized it, we’ll take the oil and sell it.” On the face of it, this is a very simple operation, isn’t it? It’s very simple. This is oil, we’ll take it, the job is done. But those who have to extract the oil are saying, “Sir, it is uninvestable. How can we invest there? It’s impossible. The legal framework, the commercial framework, it doesn’t work for us. This is a completely loss-making venture.” Venezuela indeed has 17.3 trillion dollars worth of oil; that’s a fact. But the fact of the matter is, it would be incredibly difficult to extract it. If it were that easy, the Chinese would have already extracted it by now. So the Chinese would have absolutely taken out Venezuela’s oil. But that didn’t happen, did it? Now Donald Trump has swooped in.

Why are sonic weapons so dangerous? World Future Weapons

Now imagine a country attacking another country, but without using bombs or missiles. Yet, the attacked country’s soldiers surrender within seconds without putting up any resistance. What would you call this? This isn’t a story from a Hollywood movie; it’s the story of new-age weapons. On January 3rd, something similar happened in Venezuela when the US Delta Force launched an operation to capture Nicolás Maduro. US President Donald Trump himself spoke about this operation, stating that the US possesses new and advanced weapons that the world is not yet aware of. The whole world was wondering what the Venezuelan army was doing during this operation. Why didn’t the Venezuelan forces offer any resistance? And how did the US commandos manage to easily apprehend the Venezuelan president? There was no bloodshed, no conflict. How is this possible? And now, in an interview, US President Donald Trump has for the first time admitted that they possess weapons that the world knows nothing about. He also stated that he doesn’t want to share information about these weapons with anyone in the world yet. This means the US wants to keep these weapons a secret, and the main reason is that if the US reveals all the details about these weapons, countries like China or Russia could develop similar weapons. President Trump has confirmed for the first time that sonic weapons were used in Venezuela, and that’s why the operation to capture President Maduro ended in just three minutes, and not a single Venezuelan soldier could stand against the US forces. In the interview, Trump was asked whether US soldiers had used sonic weapons, and in his reply, Trump did not deny the use of sonic weapons and also said that this technology is not available to any other country in the world. He also mentioned that the time it takes to develop a new weapon is constantly decreasing. The time it takes to develop and manufacture these weapons, often several years, means that by the time they are ready, the technology is already outdated. Currently, most countries in the world are fighting with conventional weapons such as guns, drones, and missiles, and no one has yet even imagined fighting a war with sonic weapons. Remember, not long ago, drones were considered the most advanced weapons; now, battles are fought with drones. But with the advent of sonic weapons, drones seem like a thing of the past, and missiles appear outdated. If such sonic weapons become available, imagine that armies won’t even need to fight. The army possessing these sonic weapons will force the opposing army to surrender without a fight. They won’t be able to compete because their bodies will experience such reactions—they will vomit blood, their skin will burn, and their minds will become so disoriented that they won’t even be able to pick up their weapons. There will be no need to fire bullets, bombs, or missiles. The US possesses several other new weapons, including sonic weapons, whose power and capabilities are still unknown to the world.
